Cleansing oil or balm
Cleansing oil or balm is the foundation of the Korean skin care routine and is the first step in double cleansing the face. Cleansing oils are not only easy to use (we gently apply the cleanser) but at the same time very effective as they remove make up, other fatty substances such as sebum, environmental pollutants and sunscreen.
What does the cleansing oil or balm do? It dissolves oily substances such as make up and sunscreen.
When and how do we use it? Morning and evening by gently massaging into dry skin. Then add warm water and rinse.

Water based cleaner
The water-based facial cleanser is the second step of double cleansing. Double cleansing is recommended by beauticians and dermatologists because it helps to deeply remove impurities that can cause wrinkles. Water-based cleansers dissolve impurities such as sand and sweat that the oil-based cleanser failed to clean.
What does the water based cleaner do? Removes impurities such as sand and sweat
When and how do we use it? Morning and evening, apply it to fresh skin on the face and neck and massage in circular motions. Then rinse with warm water.

Physical as well as chemical exfoliation helps to clean pores and remove dead cells, revealing bright and soft skin. Frequent exfoliation helps other skin care products work more effectively as they are better absorbed.
What does exfoliation offer? Cleanses debris from pores and removes dead cells.
When and how to exfoliate? Gently exfoliate 1 to 2 times a week, focusing on the nose as well as visible pores on the cheeks, chin and forehead.

The toner is a must product in the K-beauty routine, as it removes any residue that may have been left by the cleansing products and at the same time prepares the skin so that it can effectively absorb the moisturizers that will follow. Think of your skin like a sponge. How hard is it to moisturize when it's completely dry and hard and how much easier it is when it's already fresh?!
What does toner offer? It balances the skin's moisture and ph levels.
When and how do we use it? We use a cotton pad which we wet with toner and pass over the whole face.
Ingredients we love aloe, licorice, citric acid
The essences have a light texture while containing a mixture of important ingredients for hydration, antiaging and strengthening the skin barrier.
What does essence offer? Moisturizes and helps to regenerate the skin.
When and how do we use it? You put a small amount on your fingers and lightly massage your face and neck.

Ampoules & serums
Ampoules and serums lead to the perfection of skin care. Packed with very powerful ingredients they target issues like acne, wrinkles, blemishes and pigmentation.
What do serums and ampoules offer? They instantly target blemishes.
When and how do we use them? Taking a respectable amount on the fingers, you gently apply to the skin with an emphasis on the areas with imperfections.

If essences are the heart of the Korean cleansing routine, beauty masks are its soul. The key to beauty masks is the mask itself, which as it comes into contact with the face for a longer time allows the skin to fully absorb the nutrients. At the same time, it helps you to relax as it brings you to absolute peace and quiet.
What do the masks offer? With its special design, it passes concentrated nutrients to the skin.
When and how do we apply them? You apply the mask to clean skin, lie down and rest for 15 to 20 minutes. Then you gently dab the rest of the substance on the neck and décolleté.

The skin around the eyes is thin and more sensitive than the rest of the face. Regular use of an eye cream can reduce dark circles, puffiness and expression lines. Eye creams contain beneficial ingredients for the specific area without irritating it.
What does the eye cream offer? Moisturizes the delicate eye area and prevents dark circles, puffiness and expression lines such as crow's feet.
When and how do we use the cream? We take a small amount and gently apply with our little finger to the entire area around the eye avoiding the water line.

Moisturizers come in many forms (gel, cream, mask) and their job is to trap moisture in the skin.
What does the moisturizer offer? Locks in moisture.
When and how do we use it? Every morning and evening we apply the moisturizing cream to the face and neck by dabbing gently with our fingers.

You should always wear sunscreen, even if you are away from the sun. Sunscreen is the easiest and most effective way to avoid premature aging of your skin (but also skin cancer). Sunscreen should be the last step so that it offers your skin a protective shield without the risk of being damaged by other products.
What does sunscreen offer? Protects the skin from harmful UV rays.
When and how do we use it? We apply the sunscreen gently on the face and neck as the last step of our morning routine. We apply again during the day.
